The first part of the Sabo Rosa 2018 competition, the traditional recognition for the ninth edition that, on the occasion of the Women’s Day, is awarded to a worker in the transport world. The “prize” consists of a single specimen of the pink-colored Sabo shock absorber and a lunch in honor of the winner.
After the application phase begins now, and until 12.30 on Wednesday 28 February, the moment when you can vote online for the preferred candidate: click here to vote. For this edition there are seven candidates for the title of “Truck Driver of the Year”: Silvia Aste from Vallarsa (TN), Laura Broglio from Lendinara (RO), Angela Cozzolino from Sassuolo (MO), Cinzia De Franco from Cambiago (MI), Rosa Frattarolo from Manfredonia (BA), Suzanna Howard from Solbiate Olona (VA) and Giada Pandolfini from Viserba (RN).
The first three with the highest number of votes will go to the final phase, which involves the evaluation of the profiles by the jury, composed by journalists and, above all, by the employees of the main sponsor of the prize: the Roberto Nuti Group, leader in vehicle spare parts commercial for over half a century.

They are entitled to receive the Sabo Rosa: truck drivers, buses, ladders; mechanics, managers of transport companies, employees or self-employed workers in every sector of the supply chain: from production to spare parts, through logistics. The ceremony of delivery of the Sabo Rosa will take place on Wednesday, March 7 at the Bologna headquarters of the Group, founded in 1962 by Roberto Nuti. Elisabetta Nuti, financial director of the Group, will preside over the jury.

The Sabo Rosa was established in 2010 and, until now, has been delivered to a fire brigade driver, a tourist bus driver and six truck drivers: one from Bologna, one from Livorno, one from Modena, one from Lombardy and two from the Veneto.
