New vehicles, great previews, and equipment for every type of application, integrated logistic solutions, refresher courses and professional training: Transpotec Logitec, the reference event for road transport and logistics, from 27 to 30 January 2022 at Fiera Milano is ready to offer a complete and updated vision of the sector and its professionals.
We will also be present with our own stand where we will present our range of Sabo products and other products distributed exclusively in Italy.
The appointment comes at a time of recovery for the market, in fact, although it cannot yet be considered a consolidated trend, the drive to renew the circulating fleet continues to grow: in the first nine months of 2021 there were in Italy 19,061 registration certificates for new trucks, 32.6% more than in the same period of 2020, and 11,546 registration certificates for new heavy trailers and semi-trailers (+44.3% compared to January-September 2020, source: ANFIA).
The manufactures
Daf, Ford Trucks, Iveco, Scania for industrial vehicles and Piaggio and Ford Italia for commercial vehicles, are the major brands of manufacturers who, to date, have formalised their presence at the exhibition. Sustainability, safety, innovation and comfort are the challenges driving the renewal of the sector, to which manufacturers are preparing to respond with new products in their ranges:
- The green offer: reduction of emissions, fuel savings and a concrete contribution to decarbonisation are the main features of all the new vehicles. Electric, liquefied gas and hydrogen vehicles, but also new diesel engines and hybrid drive proposals. On display will be a range of products that combine maximum efficiency and performance with a lower environmental impact
- Safety and innovation: driver assistance systems, advanced sensors, maintenance packages. Safety remains a fundamental variable for those who drive vehicles and technology is increasingly responding to this need with innovations in the name of digitalisation and electronic vehicle management
- Comfort and ergonomics: innovative exterior design, increasingly cool, attentive to details and aerodynamic, but also great care for the interior. The proposals are tailor-made to meet the needs of all types of transport, with an eye to the quality of driving and life of the haulier: larger cabins, on-board information and entertainment, a wide variety of fittings, noise reduction, smooth driving. At the event, it will be possible to discover all the on-board equipment that combines care and comfort and represents the cutting edge of tomorrow’s driving style.
Visiting operators will be able to discover all the new products of the manufacturers, touching the proposals on display, but will also have the opportunity to get on board and try out the vehicles, thanks to the large outdoor areas of Fiera Milano that will be set up as test-drive tracks and will allow any type of manoeuvre at the wheel of the vehicle.
Fittings
Trailers and semi-trailers will also be present with the latest innovations: towed vehicles are essential to guarantee the reliability of the vehicle, both in terms of safety and performance.
On display will be the latest concept vehicles, innovative in terms of materials, reliability and aerodynamics: from curtain-sided vehicles to flat-top vehicles, tankers and construction site trailers, without forgetting the controlled temperature, which is essential to guarantee safety and reliability in the transport of food and medicines.
Aftermarket and logistics
They are the key sectors for supporting road transport and require dedicated spaces to be presented. This is why the Logistic Village and the Aftermarket Village are back at Transpotec.
Organised by DBInformation, through the magazines Parts Truck and Logistics & Transport, and with the collaboration, for the Logistic Village, of F.I.A.P. (Federazione Italiana Autotrasportatori Professionali – Italian Federation of Professional Hauliers), the two villages will be attended by all the major aftermarket operators, road haulage and logistics companies and, last but not least, major customers. The Aftermarket Village will provide all operators with a large physical and virtual square that will combine the power of networking with the substance of business.
The Logistic Village, on the other hand, will connect those who sell services and products to road haulage and logistics with their clients, who are the ultimate customers of logisticians and road hauliers. F.I.A.P.’s role will again be that of facilitator of relationships and knowledge, also through targeted workshops, plus the possibility of transforming networking into business opportunities.
