SABO (‘Shock Absorbers Bologna’) is a brand of the Roberto Nuti Group, an industrial group founded in 1962 in Castel Guelfo (Bologna), which includes Roberto Nuti Spa, Sabo Ammortizzatori Srl, Sabo Suspension System (Turkey) and Sabo-Hema (India).

Starting in the 1970s, production of shock absorbers for both the aftermarket and the original equipment began at the SABO Ammortizzatori Srl plant in Vicchio del Mugello, Tuscany. To ensure an optimal suspension system, SABO shock absorbers were later joined by SABO air springs.

SABO products are interchangeable with the originals for all major makes of heavy vehicles.
